PKR and Anwar Ibrahim as the party's leader, MUST address and act , as promised, against the uncalled-for and offensive behaviour of its MP for Kulim-Bandar Baharu, Zulkifli Noordin, during the Bar Council Forum protest.
It is NOT good enough for Azmin Ali to say that PKR understood Zulkifli Noordin's position.
Decent-minded Malaysians will NOT understand Zulkifli Noordin as an elected representative of the people, when he said that he is a Muslim FIRST and a Member of Parliament SECOND...and that he as a Muslim first and a PKR member second.
If that is Zulkifli Noordin's stand, he should be sacked from PKR or asked to resign so that the next MP will be one who is willing to be an MP FIRST and a Muslim second.
Voters did NOT elect Zulkifli Noordin to be in Parliament as a Muslim FIRST, but instead to act and behave as a Member of Parliament FIRST.
For Zulkifli Noordin to say that he acted as a Exco member of Pertubuhan Peguam Pembela Islam (Organisation of Lawyers Defending Islam)at the Bar Council forum protest is an EXCUSE and NOT a REASON for his behaviour.
It shows a "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" personality of Zulkifli Noordin and that is NOT what voters bargained for when he was elected under the Pakatan Rakyat banner.
Failure to act against Zulkifli Noordin will highlight the HYPOCRISY of PKR and the moral standards set by Anwar Ibrahim for himself and for Pakatan Rakyat.

While the heat is on UMNO's Ahmad Ismail, do you still remember what PKR's Kulim-Bandar Baharu MP Zulkifli Nordin did at the Bar Council forum on Article 152?
In a dated news report, Zulkifli said he had received a phone call from PKR advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, telling him to campaign in the Permatang pauh by-election. He said Anwar had also told him he "understood" his reasons for being at the forum.
A reporter friend of mine who was at the Permatang Pauh by-election told me earlier that it was unlikely for PKR to take any disciplinary action against Zulkifli. She was spot on.
Zulkifli argued that he was there as an Exco member of Pertubuhan Peguam Pembela Islam (Organisation of Lawyers Defending Islam) and not as a PKR MP.
Similarly, Ahmad (Ismail) can say that he made the remark as a Malay ultra and not as a division leader of UMNO.
Before the by-election, Anwar said his party will be mulling an action against Zulkifli.
It is only right we ask him if he still remember his promise?
PKR was expected to discuss action to be taken against Zulkifli for his behaviour during the protest. Party deputy president Dr Syed Husin Ali had said a show-cause letter would be issued to Zulkifli after the polling day in Permatang Pauh on Aug 26.

... In Malaysiakini Second-hand apology 'unacceptable' Lim Kit Siang said of Najib’s apology for Ahmad Ismail’s racist remarks as inadequate and unacceptable.
Can Uncle Lim ask ANWAR why he has not taken any action again that PKR thug (Zulkifli Noordin) , even though ANWAR had promised publicly he would do so (see Malaysiakini PKR leader: Action will be taken against errant MP. )
Mind you, that was BEFORE the (Permatang Pauh) by-election .
Can Uncle Lim ask Anwar why Anwar’s right hand man, Azmin Ali had accepted demagogue Zulkifli Noordin’s (unrevealed) explanation in ‘good faith’, whatever that means (see Malaysiakini Zulkifli defends his action at Bar forum), when PKR Deputy President Dr Syed Husin had already asserted that the demagogue would be disciplined?
Let’s not bloody man man lai and gloss over this outstanding issue:
Let’s see PKR take some disciplinary action against the Kulim Wonder, a man that Haris Ibrahim has accused (together with Salehuddin Ayub) as 'lying, deceiving and manipulative politicians' for fear-mongering about Article 11.
Or any criticism against Najib for his apology would not only be ungracious but plain double-standard hypocrisy. Let’s not over ‘reform’ selectivity
Sure, demand that Ahmad Ismail bloody f* well apologize personally and unreservedly, or UMNO should sack the arsehole (sorry for the unintended pun).
Yes, criticize AAB as well for brushing it off under the carpet with a ‘promise’ that the bigot won’t do it again.
But the DAP has been fair, so can Uncle Lim (Kit Siang) get that Kulim Wonder to apologize for his unbelievable misconduct at the recent but aborted Bar Council’s forum?
